A Firebox backup image is a saved copy of the working image from the Firebox flash disk. The backup image includes the Firebox appliance software, configuration file, licenses, and certificates. When you purchase an option for your Firebox, you add a new feature key to your configuration file. Reference: Fireware Basics, Courseware: WatchGuard System Manager 10, pages 14, 57
A backup image includes:
Configuration file;
Certificates;
Features keys;
Passphrases;
DHCP leases;
Mobile security device information (DIM) database;
Event notification settings;
Customer logo;
Hotspot guest configuration files;
Serial number;
Platform and version information.
If it is v12.2- or less, include Fireware OS.
If it is v12.5.2+ or more, the backup image can be made from WatchGuard Cloud Device Manager.

A backup image includes:
-Configuration file
-Certificates
-Passwords
-Feature key
-Other information unique to that Firebox
Because available storage is limited, backup images stored on the Firebox do not include the Fireware OS. -page 19 of Network-Security-Essentials_Study-Guide-
So the B is incorrect i think
Oups ok my bad that's good -> When you export a backup image, you can choose to include the Fireware OS. Insome cases, this can make restoration easier.
in 12.2 or lower version the OS is include in the backup image but for 12.2.1 and more the OS is not stored into the firebox but you can add it when you export thebckup image.
Not easy to understand.
