Choosing A...based on the info in this link https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/com.vmware.vcenter.upgrade.doc/GUID-7F6801A0-4003-4E4E-875B-EA7A2F9FE8EA.html Not "B"...Cause answer states "can only be upgraded using the Graphical User Interface Installer." ..but this this link shows there are multiple options to upgrade https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/com.vmware.esxi.upgrade.doc/GUID-FE668788-1F32-4CB2-845C-5547DD59EB48.html Not "C"...cause answer states "Auto-deploy must be used"...Auto deploy supports provisioning Hundreds of hosts...but previous link shows there are multiple options to use to upgrade NOT just Auto-Deploy

Answer C says Auto-deploy 'must' be used. That suggests that there is no other option, which is not correct. I would select A

I've seen a lot of people choosing "auto-deploy", but there are some things to take into consideration here: 1. auto deploy is only for ESXi hosts, not for the entire vSphere environment. 2. Auto deploy is used to DEPLOY hosts, but can be also used to upgrade them. However, you can use auto-deploy to upgrade ESXi hosts only if the hosts were deployed with auto-deploy. *there is nothing mentioned about it in the question https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/com.vmware.esxi.upgrade.doc/GUID-FE668788-1F32-4CB2-845C-5547DD59EB48.html#GUID-FE668788-1F32-4CB2-845C-5547DD59EB48 vSphere Auto Deploy If an ESXi host is deployed with vSphere Auto Deploy, you can use vSphere Auto Deploy to reprovision the host and reboot it with a new image profile. So I will go with A

Selected Answer: A
Very simple... VC6.7 does NOT support ESXi7.0 hosts. So the rest of it doesn't really matter... You MUST upgrade the VC and this is the only option with a VC upgrade mentioned. vCenter Server 6.7 can manage ESXi version 6.0 or 6.5 hosts in the same cluster with ESXi 6.7 hosts vCenter Server 6.7 cannot manage ESXi 5.5 or earlier hosts. from: https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/6.7/com.vmware.vcenter.upgrade.doc/GUID-49E8A38B-A356-4665-8F95-38163FB3A220.html Answer is A

Auto-deploy must be used to upgrade the large scale environment. A refers to only vCenter but the question refers to vSphere upgrade which means hosts AND vCenter - so AutoDeploy -C- is the correct answer

A is a true statement. Autodeploy could be used to upgrade the hosts but there are other ways, so the word "must" makes C incorrect.

Correct answer is A. Look for key words in Option C - "Autodeploy must be to used". It's NOT Mandatory that you have to use AutoDeploy while upgrading hosts, however for better performance, you can use Autodeploy.
