C. The backup solution must leverage VMware vSphere Storage APIs - Data Protection. https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1021175 VCB and VDP are EOL and no longer supported.

Note the KB mentions "formerly known as VMware vStorage APIs for Data Protection or VADP". A name change sometime in the past.

On April 5th, 2017, VMware announced the End of Availability (EOA) of the VMware vSphere Data Protection (VDP) product. VMware vSphere 6.5 is the last release to include vSphere Data Protection and future vSphere releases will no longer include this product. https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2149614
