I think this:
1 Check the current driver and firmware version using the vSphere Client
2 Download the lates driver and firmware from the hardware vendor's website
3 Plan for Maintenance window to perform the update
4 Apply the firmware update to the host
5 Update the driver using vSphere Lifecycle Manager (vLCM)
6 Reboot the host to complete the update process
7 Verify tha the new driver and firmware versions are active
