reverting to the previous version and then deleting the current version. Option C is incorrect because it deletes the entire template and not just the latest version. Option A is incorrect because it renames the previous version to the current version and does not delete anything. Option B is incorrect because it checks out the latest version and deletes it from the folder, but not from the library
Navigate to Menu > VMs and Templates and click the VM template.
Click the Versioning tab in the vertical timeline.
Click the horizontal ellipsis icon (horizontal ellipsis icon) that appears in the checked out VM template box, and select Discard Checked Out VM.
The Discard Checked Out VM dialog box opens.
To delete the checked out virtual machine and discard all changes, click Discard.
----The wording on the answer does not add up, but its the closest one to the correct answer. There is no mention on vmware documentation about deleting the template from the templates folder.
I am still not 100% on this one. Here's how to delete a template version from a content library. https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/com.vmware.vsphere.vm_admin.doc/GUID-BFC8634B-1D06-4F5F-A0B9-A8EE7AD7F3AA.html
Check out, is a way to make changes to a template which creates a new version. It is not to delete an un-needed version of a template.
