This answer needs to be fixed! C,D are the correct answers. Table 1. Virtual Machine Power State After Restoring a Snapshot Virtual Machine State When Parent Snapshot Is Taken Virtual Machine State After Restoration Powered on (includes memory) Reverts to the parent snapshot, and the virtual machine is powered on and running. Powered on (does not include memory) Reverts to the parent snapshot and the virtual machine is powered off. C is obvious as memory contents were saved in the snapshot D is true as the 'previous', aka 'parent' snapshot state will be reverted.

Since the virtual memory was included, the state is powered on. You are reverting to a previous instance of the VM, so to a parent snapshot.
