guys if they say the "lasest snapshot" doesnt it mean the child? since only the first snapshot is called the parent in the hirarchy?

This answer needs to be fixed! C,D are the correct answers. Table 1. C is obvious as memory contents were saved in the snapshot D is true as the 'previous', aka 'parent' snapshot state will be reverted.

Since the virtual memory was included, the state is powered on. You are reverting to a previous instance of the VM, so to a parent snapshot.
