because RAID-5/6 (Erasure Coding) uses less disk space, but the performance is reduced. and FTT2

This is so wrong. First off, this VCF, not VMC on AWS. Second, RAID1 is the failure protection method that most consumes space. Right answer is B.

I think correct answer is C because "Use the least amount of hosts" is a pre-requisites.

Yes but notice it says failures to tolerate = 2. C cannot be correct.
