When an administrator takes a snapshot without including the virtual machine's memory and without quiescing the guest file system, the snapshot only includes the disk state. In this case, if the administrator selects the "Revert to Latest Snapshot" option, the following will occur: B. The virtual machine will be restored in a powered-off state. Since the snapshot doesn't include the memory state, the VM will revert to the disk state saved in the snapshot and will be powered off. C. The virtual machine will be restored to the child snapshot. The "Revert to Latest Snapshot" action restores the VM to the latest (most recent) snapshot, which is the child snapshot in the hierarchy. Therefore, the correct answers are: B. The virtual machine will be restored in a powered off state. C. The virtual machine will be restored to the child snapshot.

You can't assume there's more than 1 snapshot, therefore when reverted it will always be the parent.

B&C: Guys, if the machine has more snapshots and you revert to the latest then you will be on a child snapshot, not on the parent snapshot which is the first one.
