Answer is correct. Proactive HA remediates based on host degradation. Be familiar with automation level and remediation options as well for the test.

Proactive HA is used. It works with DRS to move the VMs to other hosts. Predictive DRS is linked with vRealize Operations to predict the resource usages and better load balance the workloads compared to the simple DRS. Nothing to see with hardware health status.

HA is used to restart VMs (causing a migration) when a host fails. Proactive HA responds when there is a partial failure on teh host. DRS will monitor host 'health' and move VMs based on the DRS score and configured automation level. The question stipulates that VMs will be moved automatically when host health degrades. Answer is A - Predictive DRS.

DRS will definitely not monitor host health. DRS will be used by HA to move virtual machines from the failing host to other, healthy nodes. Predictive DRS uses vROPS (Aria Operations) data to preemptively move workloads to other hosts before some well-known top talkers start eating up the resources.

Predictive drs is related to resource balance and performance not issues. Proactive HA Automation level: Automated. Understand the difference. Migration moves virtual machine, no down time. Restarts is when virtual machine is down and HA restarts it, incurring down time. There is no migration in HA, only restarts.

Proactive HA is not the classic reactive HA, hence the name. It triggers DRS for the actual migration recommendations. Predictive DRS will not handle any host hardware health issues on its own.
