Lots of confusion on the differences between uplinks, NSX uplinks are configured as part of edge cluster deployment: https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Cloud-Foundation/5.0/vcf-admin/GUID-D17D0274-7764-43BD-8252-D9333CA7415A.html

I do think options C and E are the correct ones. Since the question says "while setting up an edge VM ... from the SDDC Manager user interface" I think that the question refers to the process of adding the edge cluster itself, note that this process deploys the edge cluster as well as a T0 GW along with its uplinks and also the BGP neighbor-ship. Note that a wizard 'ADD EDGE CLUSTER' launches from the SDDC Manager and asks for all the info [ Edge node names, IPs, VLANs, T0 uplinks, AS for BGP, Edge cluster name, MTU, T0 name, T1 name, Edge cluster type, root/admin/audit credentials, edge nodes’ form factor, T0 routing type (only able to choose static or EBGP; no OSPF available), Edge Nodes’ FQDN, Edge Nodes’ TEP IPs and VLAN tags, T0 uplink VLANs and uplink interface CIDR, BGP peer, ASN, BGP peer password ] regarding the deployment. - YoMeroElCarpintero

The two configuration steps that a VMware Cloud Foundation administrator must apply to achieve north/south connectivity while setting up an edge VM node for a workload domain from the SDDC Manager user interface are: B. vSphere VDS Uplinks: This is required to connect the edge VM node to the upstream physical network. The administrator needs to configure the vSphere Virtual Distributed Switch (VDS) uplinks to provide connectivity to the external network. C. NSX VDS Uplinks: This is required to connect the edge VM node to the NSX-T Data Center logical network. The administrator needs to configure the NSX Virtual Distributed Switch (VDS) uplinks to provide connectivity to the logical network. Therefore, options B and C are the correct choices. Options A, D, and E are not directly related to achieving north/south connectivity for an edge VM node in a workload domain.

By the way : C. NSX VDS Uplinks: This is required to connect the edge VM node to the NSX-T Data Center logical network. The administrator needs to configure the NSX Virtual Distributed Switch (VDS) uplinks to provide connectivity to the logical network. It should be PREPARED before Edge deployment. it's a pre-requisite (a check box that you have to check before deploying any Edge cluster)

NSX-VDS Uplink is right. But you need BGP information as per documentation : https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Cloud-Foundation/4.5/vcf-admin/GUID-D17D0274-7764-43BD-8252-D9333CA7415A.html

your right BGP is right answer, as vSphere VDS Uplinks not part of setting up an edge VM node
