Ans: B During the creation of the software-defined data center (SDDC), two Tier 1 (T1) routers are created: management and compute. These routers are called gateways in the SDDC console: ? The management gateway (MGW) includes vCenter Server and NSX Manager. Add-on services deploy other management appliances to the MGW. ? The compute gateway (CGW) includes any workload VMs that are created in the SDDC. By default, no compute gateway network segments are created.

Answer is B The CGW is a Tier 1 router that handles network traffic for workload VMs connected to routed compute network segments. Compute gateway firewall rules, along with NAT rules, run on the Tier 0 router.

Selected Answer: A
Answer is A. Snippit from VMware Cloud on AWS Docs. Compute Gateway networking includes a compute network with one or more segments and the DNS, DHCP, and security (gateway firewall and distributed firewall) configurations that manage network traffic for workload VMs. It can also include a layer 2 VPN and extended network that provides a single broadcast domain that spans your on-premises network and your SDDC workload network.
