An office building has 30 employees and allows 42 square feet of work space per employee. If five more employees are hired, how much less work space wills each employee have?
Suggested Answer:A🗳️
The office has 1,260 square feet of space (multiply 42 square feet by 30 employees). With 35 employees, each employee will have 36 square feet of work space (1,260 ֳ· 35), which is 6 square feet less than originally.
This answer doesn't make any sense here. i know you multiplied number of of employees by their workspace which is 30*42 to get 1260. Now since there is an extra new hired employees of 5 which is added to the 30 to make 35, now 35 is going to divide their total workspace which is 1260 but answer cannot be 6 if 1260 is divided by 6 except if the question if wrong.. should be 36 per how you solved it except if your formular for solving the equation is wrong
