Option C is not a correct method to change the data type of a field in general, because it only works for fields that were part of the original data source, not calculated fields. The question does not say "calculated field," it says "field." In addition, the drop-down menu of the field in the Data Source tab does not give an option to change the data type. That can be done using the icon.
