This is a trick question. alisyed & DaddyP are correct, Page 68 of the .PDF does specify both Zoom Out and Zoom to Selection re-executes the search. If you believe the answer is No, it is because you are getting confused with simply highlighting/selecting a portion of the timeline--that is what filters the results, but does not re-execute the search.
