Selected Answer: D
D From doc. : "The minimum billing charge for provisioning compute resources is 1 minute (i.e. 60 seconds). There is no benefit to stopping a warehouse before the first 60-second period is over because the credits have already been billed for that period. After the first 60 seconds, all subsequent billing for a running warehouse is per-second (until all its compute resources are shut down). Three examples are provided below: If a warehouse runs for 30 to 60 seconds, it is billed for 60 seconds. If a warehouse runs for 61 seconds, it is billed for only 61 seconds. If a warehouse runs for 61 seconds, shuts down, and then restarts and runs for less than 60 seconds, it is billed for 121 seconds (60 + 1 + 60)." https://docs.snowflake.com/en/user-guide/warehouses-considerations#:~:text=If%20a%20warehouse,60%20%2B%201%20%2B%2060).

The correct answer is D. If a warehouse runs for 30 to 60 seconds, it is billed for 60 seconds. If a warehouse runs for 61 seconds, it is billed for only 61 seconds. If a warehouse runs for 61 seconds, shuts down, and then restarts and runs for less than 60 seconds, it is billed for 121 seconds (60 + 1 + 60).

D is correct according to documentation: "If a warehouse runs for 30 to 60 seconds, it is billed for 60 seconds. If a warehouse runs for 61 seconds, it is billed for only 61 seconds. If a warehouse runs for 61 seconds, shuts down, and then restarts and runs for less than 60 seconds, it is billed for 121 seconds (60 + 1 + 60)." https://docs.snowflake.com/en/user-guide/warehouses-considerations#how-are-credits-charged-for-warehouses

Well I think it charges for 61 seconds the first time and 60 seconds the second time. however i am confused with the later part of the statement "After 1 minute, all subsequent billing is per-second as long as the warehouse runs continuously"

Selected Answer: C
C First Runtime (61 seconds): When the warehouse runs for 61 seconds, it is billed as one minute (60 seconds) because of the minimum billing interval policy. Second Runtime (30 seconds): Upon restarting, the warehouse runs for an additional 30 seconds. Again, due to the minimum billing interval, this is billed as one minute (60 seconds), regardless of the actual shorter runtime. Total Billing: Adding these two minimum billing intervals together, the total billing time is 60 seconds (for the first interval) plus 60 seconds (for the second interval) equals 120 seconds. https://docs.snowflake.com/en/user-guide/cost-understanding-compute
