B is correct. The sample was collected for 30 days, in other words, there are 30 observations in this one sample. These 30 observations were taken whenever the temperature was 60 or plus, this probably was not possible in 30 consecutive days because the temperature is likely not to stay constant for 30 days. The sample size is 30 observations and degree of freedom is = Sample Size - 1, which is 30 - 1 = 29.
