If a software product does not exist in the Software Library, you can add a custom product. Software product: used in combination with the publisher during Discovery model normalization. You can add a custom product if a software product does not exist in the Software library in Software Asset  Administration  Custom Products. Pay-for-license software products are stored in the Software Product table [sam_sw_product] which is updated from the ServiceNow Content Library.
