Can't be B as this would 1) cause a loop but also 2) it would be the workflow generating the task that triggers another (sub)flow, not the task itself. Workflow-to-task is one-to-many.
A should be the correct answer. Workflows and tasks are not two-way (i.e. a task can trigger a workflow, but this workflow will not trigger the same task - otherwise you have a loop...)
