The options include: • Leave to category: Behavior of assets and CIs of this Model are based on the configuration of the Model Category. • Create consumable asset: This option allows you to treat this model as a consumable rather than an individually tracked asset. This capability is useful in situations such as printers, where you may have some more expensive printers that you track as individual assets, but perhaps have some low-end printers that you just want to track as consumables. Set this option for the models you want to track as consumables. • Do not create assets: Do not create assets for CIs of the current model. This is useful for models that you know your company does not purchase.
