Software allocations in ServiceNow’s Software Asset Management Professional product are records that grant one or many right(s), are identified on the entitlement record, and assigned to a user or device to use the software.
Software allocation: records that grant one or many rights, are identified on the entitlement record and assigned to a user or device to use the software. Entitlements that have available rights may be allocated to multiple users or devices, so each entitlement will have multiple allocations.

A user or device allocation can be added to a software entitlement to specify a user or device to which rights have been allocated.
A voting comment increases the vote count for the chosen answer by one.
