Selected Answer: ADE
**A. Active must be true.** The user must have an active status to receive notifications. - **D. The user must not be locked out.** Locked-out users will not receive email notifications. - **E. The Email field must have a value.** The system requires a valid email address to send notifications. ### Why Not the Other Options? - **B. The First name and Last name fields must have values.** These fields are not required for email notifications to function. While useful for personalization, their absence does not block notifications. - **C. The value in the Notification field must be set to enabled.** There is no specific "Notification" field on a user record. Notifications are enabled or disabled at the notification or system level, not per user through such a field.

A don't agree with "A". Active must be true? Active what? I know SN troubleshooting article lists a use case where if Incident is no longer active, the email is not sent out because Incident Opened email notification has a condition of [active] [is] [true]. But that is a single case, and hardly can be applied to troubleshooting all email notifications. C - because notifications must be enabled D - because locked users cannot receive emails by design: https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0859406 E - because user will not get email if their email field is empty
