Once the Check Type is defines you need a check definition that define the way of querying the end-device. This could be done with scripts, commands or with the build in OSQuery (https://osquery.io/). ACC-V uses OSQuery for other data detection, and is maintained by the Agent. The good thing is that there is a predefined Check Definition to run OSQuery (util.osquery.agent) that you can take inspiration from.

The Disco training has a slide which states: Check Definitions executes the osquery command on agents. verbatim.. I'm suggesting D.

I wanted to make a correction. I found the answer in Module 7 of the lab. If you watch that module at the portion where it talks about Check Definitions, it says word for word "executes the osquery command on agents." and "osquery commands are used to gather specific attribute details..." That being said the correct answer is actually D. Check Definitions

ACC also supports OSQuery, allowing you to query hosts and run remediation commands on demand or from ServiceNow workflows using the Automation Engine spoke available on the ServiceNow Store.
