Product models
A product is a type of goods or services that your company sells and supports. Product models identify different types of products, such as a service, hardware, software, or consumables.
Assets
An asset is a specific product or instance that is supported for a customer. Assets can have serial numbers or asset tag numbers and can be allocated to individual accounts or to a contact within an account. Assets can also have associated support contracts.

B is correct.
The whole Install Base setup with Sold Products is focused on digital services, which are different from physical products and assets because they are deployed in a public or private cloud.
Thus a sold product basically is a service you're selling such as router maintenance, phone subscription, document management, etc... whereas an asset is a physical product located at the customer's premises.
should be A. A product is a type of asset that represents a model or a type of item that can be sold or delivered to customers, it's on the CSM website product documentation
