DE Publish to the service catalog There are two ways to publish catalog items; both methods use a related link to publish: From a model When the catalog item is published from the model, it allows item updates to be managed through the model. The model represents the item as IT wants it presented to the end user, and the actual vendor used to obtain the item is determined when a request needs to be fulfilled. From a vendor item Vendor items can be used to publish catalog items or be linked to catalog items. When used to create a catalog item, the catalog item details are maintained in the vendor item record.
