Does anyone have any proof that A is correct? When scanning the documentation (https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-servicenow-platform/page/product/orchestration/concept/c_SCCMSoftwareRevocation.html) it suggests that removal is handled via Workflow Activities, not some form of scheduled job.
I'm leaning towards D, as no Orchestration license is required for CSD if SAM is already installed. I'm making an assumption that it is installed as part of this question as this is what the exam is on.
Request client software distribution
Client software distribution requires the Orchestration - Client Software Distribution plugin (com.snc.orchestration.client_sf_distribution), which is available by request with a subscription to Orchestration.
https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-servicenow-platform/page/product/orchestration/concept/c_ClientSoftwareDistribution.html
The Client Software Distribution (CSD) application allows administrators to distribute software from the service catalog using third-party management systems.
CSD allows an administrator to create all the records necessary to deploy software from service catalog requests, including software models and catalog items. You can use the CSD application to automate the deployment and revocation of software from an SCCM host using the custom SCCM activity pack. You can define lease periods for software distributed from the Service Catalog and allow lease extensions in some cases, pending approvals. Deployment is accomplished using Orchestration activities and workflows.
There is also a picture there that shows Configuration as the first step.
The diagram shows "Configuration" as stage 1 = C.
" You can use the CSD application to automate the deployment and revocation of software from an SCCM host using the custom SCCM activity pack." = D
Sources: CSD - https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/rome-servicenow-platform/page/product/orchestration/concept/c_ClientSoftwareDistribution.html
SCCM Activity Pack outlining the Orchestration functions without the need for a separate license: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/rome-servicenow-platform/page/administer/orchestration-activities/concept/c_SCCMActivityPack.html
The full CSD product allows administrators to distribute, manage, and revoke software/ reclaim license automation, only revocation/reclamation capability is entitled as part of SAM. Full use of CSD product requires the Orchestration - Clien Software Distribution.
Which means you cannot distribute without Orchestration license as its said in asnwer D.
While SAM relies on Orchestration to perform software reclamation, the actual functionality is included in the SAM Professional license (i.e., the revocation/reclamation capability is entitled as part of SAM Pro). You do not need to own/purchase Orchestration separately in order to revoke software/reclaim license rights using SAM Pro.
This is where I have a problem with the question when looking at the other comments. Surely if the course/exam is centered around SAM, then there is no requirement to purchase a license for Orchestration as you will already have it as part of SAM. This is why I was leaning towards D being correct.
D is not correct, I believe correct answer is A & C
