C is correct. git stash - temporarily shelves (or stashes) changes you've made to your working copy so you can work on something else, and the come back and re-apply them later on
Update Set is the source control operation used to store local changes on an instance for later application.
Brance is actually used to isolating new feautures, bugs, or experiment. To work on your independent changes without directly affecting the actual codebase
I am leaning more towards stashing.
