I would agree with C option. Even though the Service Mapping discovery pattern doesn't include a step to collect the Version information, the Identifier Entry, which is a crucial part of the discovery process, will still be used to identify the Apache Web Server. This means that the discovery process will be able to recognize the target system as an Apache Web Server and proceed with the discovery, collecting the configured data (in this case, the configuration file data). Therefore, the Apache Web Server CI will be discovered successfully and either inserted or updated in the CMDB, based on its existence in the CMDB.
