B is correct @TaylaPV scrum master doesn't have to participate. Quote Scrum Guide Reorderd 2020 "The Daily Scrum is a 15-minute event for the Developers of the Scrum Team. To reduce complexity, [the Daily Scrum] is held at the same time and place every working day of the Sprint. If the Product Owner or Scrum Master are actively working on items in the Sprint Backlog, they participate as Developers. The Developers can select whatever structure and techniques they want, as long as their Daily Scrum focuses on progress toward the Sprint Goal and produces an actionable plan for the next day of work. This creates focus and improves selfmanagement. "

Selected Answer: B
The Daily Scrum is run by the developers of the Scrum team for the developers of the Scrum team. However, according to the Scrum Guide, “If the Product Owner or Scrum Master are actively working on items in the Sprint Backlog, they participate as Developers.” Developers can hold the daily standup meeting by themselves, but a Scrum Master or other Agile Coach may facilitate it, especially when the team is new to Scrum. The Scrum Master may also coach the developers on how to make the Daily Scrum productive and how to keep it within the 15-minute time box.
