C. Middleware
Why?
In both on-premise and private cloud scenarios, middleware is typically the customer’s responsibility. Middleware refers to the software that connects applications and ensures proper communication between different systems, whether on-premise or in the cloud.
In on-premise scenarios, customers are responsible for managing their entire IT infrastructure, including databases, servers, operating systems, and middleware. In private cloud scenarios, while the cloud provider might manage aspects such as servers, operating systems, and databases, the customer remains responsible for handling middleware configurations and ensuring that their systems are properly integrated.
Database, Servers, and Operating System responsibilities are typically managed by the cloud provider in a private cloud environment.
