It is an object for which separate balance sheet and P&L statements are created only when used in conjunction with segments. This statement is incorrect. As we've discussed, while segments can enhance the granularity of financial reporting for profit centers, especially in terms of balance sheet allocations, they are not strictly necessary. Profit centers can generate separate financial statements, including balance sheets, independently. C & D

Answer should be C and D since you can derive Segments from Profit Centers but not the other way around, and for the Balance Sheet you can create them using Profit Centers without having Segments

Answer should be A and D. The reason why D and not B - Segment is derived from Profit Centre and not the other way round.
