Sometimes, granting access to one record includes access to all its associated records. For example, if you grant another user access to an account, the user automatically has access to all the opportunities and cases associated with that account.
To grant access to a record, you must be one of the following users.
The record owner
A user in a role above the owner in the hierarchy (if your organization’s sharing settings control access through hierarchies)
Any user granted Full Access to the record
An administrator
I think E is correct when the role hierarchy exists in the org. A record can be manually shared by the admin, the owner, and anyone above the owner in the role hierarchy. Plus, they can be shared by anyone who has been granted access by sharing rules.
The manual sharing button is typically available to the record owner and any user with "Modify All Data" permission, such as a system administrator. I don't think it's option E - Because all of the above because manual sharing can only be done by users with the "Modify All Data" permission or by the record owner. The record owner's manager or manager's manager do not have the ability to manually share records unless they have the "Modify All Data" permission. The system administrator always has the ability to manually share records as they have the highest level of access in the organization.
