Correct answer is 100% B Attributes are often used in product rules as part of the condition logic. If you want CPQ to evaluate a rule the moment a sales rep changes the attribute value, make sure the rule's evaluation event is "Edit" then check "Apply Immediately" on the configuration attribute record. The reason the error pops up right after changing the attribute value is because the Product Rule evaluation event is set to "edit".

I think the answer is B The Product Rule validation is supposed to fire on Save. If the error fires when the Config attribute is changed, then the Product Rule evaluation event is Edit and the Config attribute Apply Immediately equals true. Changing the config attribute to apply immediately = false wouldn't be enough to ensure the validation fires when the sales rep clicks save.

Choose B. The Product Rule is checked and then saved. Only after Save, will the error message appear. (As per the requirements of the Admin)

The key in this question in the word "Save", which specifically requires the alert on save, regardless of the apply immediately. Keep in mind that even if the apply immediately was changed, still the user can click calculate and not save...

I believe answer should be D. The reason is when "Apply Immediately" is true on Configuration Attribute it applies the change/DML straightaway. On top of that, the price rule is "edit" , hence it triggered the validation as soon as you apply the change straightaway using "apply Immediately". That means if you don't use "apply immediately", the change is not applied immediately and the price rule won't fire at the time
