A/B test is to test out subject lines and content etc within 1 email to see which email copy and subject line /pre header etc works better. It cannot test if sending 3 emails is better than 1. So answer is C. 3 Random split of 33% in each split and each path can test 1 2 or 3 emails in that path to see which path converted better.
