I think B is the correct answer, as we need 1 measure (Count of Rows), 1 grouping (Year-Month) by a date field (Last Activity), and 0 trellis for the chart we see in the question. I understand trellis is used to display a separate chart for each group. Because the charts in a trellis have the same scale, you can quickly compare results across all groups. And in this case, we don't need that. https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.bi_chart_reference_trellis.htm&type=5 https://www.salesforceblogger.com/2017/11/19/hack-for-date-groupings-in-static-steps/

B To create a timeline chart to visualize the evolution of Closed Won Opportunities, we would typically need a date field (such as the close date) as a grouping and a measure that we want to track over time (such as the count of Closed Won Opportunities). If trellis is disabled, we can have zero or one groupings by a dimension, such as the sales region, product line, or sales representative. If trellis is enabled, we can have up to two additional groupings, such as the sales stage or the opportunity type, which would create multiple charts (trellis) based on the combination of those dimensions.

Does anyone understand what they mean with "groupings"? My understanding is that the vertical Y-axis is the measure and the horizontal X-axis is the dimension.

I think groupings here means Year-Month, or Year-Month-Day, etc, as you can see in the picture from this website: https://www.salesforceblogger.com/2017/11/19/hack-for-date-groupings-in-static-steps/
