However, "Solution" is among the list of Salesforce Standard Objects.

Job Applicants are not standard objects.
In a database or software application, an object is a collection of data and the methods or functions that operate on that data. Standard objects are pre-defined objects that are included in the database or application by default, and are typically used to store and manage common types of data.
A voting comment increases the vote count for the chosen answer by one.
Upvoting a comment with a selected answer will also increase the vote count towards that answer by one.
