A is close but not quite - Selection rule is correct, but you don't need a custom lookup object. When you create the Configuration Attribute on bundle product, populate the Target Field with the API name of the picklist field on Product Option that you want to use as a filter. Then your error condition looks at Configuration Attribute as your Tested Object, with the Tested Field being that picklist name. Then fill out your filter fields. Then your Actions will show/hide/etc whatever you need
