D is correct. PPS is source of truth, and we don't care about what field sales users want. That means A is out.

PPS is the trusted source within NTO for Opportunity Amount. Sales Reps should be bypassed. D is OK.

As the sales user would also like to update the records. It is best that we add a custom field that is updated by them rather than option D which would not at all allow them to record their values.
