C is correct Under certain circumstances, inserting a share row results in an update of an existing share row. Consider these examples: A manual share access level is set to Read and you insert a new one set to Write. The original share rows are updated to Write, indicating the higher level of access. https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.apexcode.meta/apexcode/apex_bulk_sharing_creating_with_apex.htm

Option A is correct. A new AccountShare record is created with Row Cause "Manual" and Access Level "Read/Write" because the OWD of the Account object is set to "Public Read-Only."

A. A. New AccountShare record is created. Row Cause is “Manual” and Access Level is “Read/Write”. When Paul manually shares the account record with John, a new AccountShare record is created to reflect this manual sharing. The "Row Cause" field in the AccountShare object will indicate that the sharing was done manually, and the "Access Level" will be set to "Read/Write" to grant John the requested EDIT access permission. Option C is not correct because if an existing AccountShare record already existed with only READ access for John, it would not be updated to provide EDIT access without a manual intervention from Paul.
