that would be an activity in the Controlling a stage but not an objective. Answer should be A as per below link https://prince2.wiki/processes/controlling-a-stage/#:~:text=The%20purpose%20of%20the%20Controlling,the%20stage%20remains%20within%20tolerance.

Ill bet my money on A; Here's a breakdown of the objectives of the 'controlling a stage' process: Main Objectives: Deliver the stage's products to the agreed quality, within agreed cost and time: This is the core purpose. The project manager must ensure the team creates the right products, to the right standard, on time and within budget.   Keep risks and issues under control: Actively identify, assess, and manage risks and issues that might affect the stage's progress.   Keep the Business Case under review: Regularly check if the stage's work still supports the project's overall justification and business case.   Ensure that attention is focused on the delivery of the products: Keep the team focused on the goals of the stage and avoid distractions or scope creep

A. (4th point) Objectives of controlling a stage process are to ensure that: • Attention is focused on delivery of the management stage’s products Any movement away from the direction and products agreed at the start of the management stage is monitored to avoid uncontrolled change and loss of focus. • The project management team is focused on delivery within the tolerances laid down. • Risks and issues are kept under control. **• The business case is kept under review. • The agreed products for the management stage meet the agreed quality expectations and are accepted.

B. To replan the current stage when directed One of the objectives of the 'controlling a stage' process in PRINCE2 is to replan the current stage when directed. This means that if, during the monitoring and control of a stage, it becomes necessary to adjust the stage plan due to deviations or changes in circumstances, the process allows for the creation of an updated plan for the current stage as directed by the project board or other relevant authority. This helps to keep the project on track and aligned with its objectives.
