Sprint Planning
Sprint Planning initiates the Sprint by laying out the work to be performed for the Sprint. This resulting plan is created by the collaborative work of the entire Scrum Team.
Daily Scrum
The purpose of the Daily Scrum is to inspect progress toward the Sprint Goal and adapt the Sprint Backlog as necessary, adjusting the upcoming planned work.
The answer is C. Sprint planning is the Scrum ceremony where the Development Team collaborates with the Product Owner to determine which Product Backlog items will be completed during the upcoming Sprint. Sprint planning answers the question "What can be done this Sprint?" and creates a plan for the Sprint, including a Sprint Goal and a Sprint Backlog.
This is factually wrong. Sprint planning is creating a backlog of work items (user stories) to be done for that sprint. Daily standup is only a check-in to see if anyone has any blockers or are stuck with a task.
