B. During the 'directing a project' process
The "controlling a stage" process in PRINCE2 is used during the "directing a project" process. The purpose of the "controlling a stage" process is to monitor and control the work of a stage to ensure that it progresses according to the stage plan and objectives. The project manager, under the direction of the project board (directing a project), uses this process to manage the activities within a stage effectively.
Closing a project is not a management stage. Initiation of a project is a management stage in Prince2 framework. For large and complex projects, Controlling a stage' process is used during 'Initiating a stage'. I think the correct answer is therefore Option C
For this question - either the question is given wrong, or the answer is wrong. If the question is given correctly, then my answer would be during Directing A Project Process as :
Reference Prince 2 - 17.3 This process will be used for each delivery stage of a project.
Starting up a closing a project process, starting up a project process and initiating a project process are not exactly delivery processes to my understanding, so I would go with B. During the "Directing a project process" but I am not completely sure. Please provide some input
