Selected Answer: A
Best Approach: ✅ Step 1: Confirm that deliverables are complete (Option B). ✅ Step 2: Validate that all acceptance criteria are met. ✅ Step 3: Seek formal approval from stakeholders, following the project charter guidelines (Option A). ✅ Step 4: Transition to an operational state and begin closeout. Thus, while Option B is important during project execution, Option A is the necessary final step before transitioning to operations.

Selected Answer: B
Transitioning a project to an operational state involves ensuring that all deliverables have been completed and meet the required standards. Reviewing the work breakdown structure (WBS) with the project team is a good practice to confirm that all planned deliverables have been produced and validated. This step helps ensure that the project is ready for operational use and that there are no outstanding tasks or incomplete work that could affect the transition. It also provides an opportunity to verify that the project has met its objectives and delivered the intended outcomes.

Selected Answer: B
By reviewing the work breakdown structure (WBS) and confirming that all deliverables have been delivered, the project manager can ensure that all the planned work has been completed according to the project scope. This step is crucial in determining whether the project's objectives have been achieved before transitioning to the operational state. Option D comes after this step.

Don't need to go all the way back to the Charter "In the Verify Scope process, the deliverables are compared with the documented scope to ensure that everything was completed. This comparison may be performed several times in the life of the project. Formal written acceptance of deliverables by the appropriate stakeholders is an output of the Verify Scope process."
