Selected Answer: C
C. Encourage frequent, small team meetings with two or three team members. When team members are spread across multiple time zones, it can be challenging to find a single time that works for everyone. By encouraging smaller team meetings, the project manager allows for more flexible scheduling that can accommodate the various time zones. These smaller meetings can then ensure that communication is ongoing and issues are being addressed in a timely manner. Later, the smaller groups can share important updates with the whole team as needed.

A and B are definitely incorrect If you chose C the team members will loos alignment with project tasks and the possible cross effect and the product (project) may be out of sync, the risk for rework arises. So only D is correct even the stand up time will be not feasible for all team members

What if the daily standup meeting is 3am? I WOULD SURELY TENDER MY RESIGNATION THE NEXT DAY LOL. OR POSSIBLY MURDERED BY TEAMMATES. THE VALUE COMMITEMENT GOT LOST IN TRANSLATION LOL. IN A PMI TRAINING OF DISCIPLINED AGILE, IT IS NOT REQUIRED BUT TEAM MEMBERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND. IT'S C.

No one cares about your childish attitude. Ironically, your all caps rants prove you aren't a team player and aren't suited to the PMP!

It seems the question was mentioned to the agile, and then the PM's responsibility is to ensure that the Scrum process is rigorously followed by the team. This includes conducting Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.

Selected Answer: D
While it may be challenging to find a convenient time for everyone, the daily standup is a fundamental Agile practice that promotes communication, collaboration, and transparency among team members. By making it a requirement for all team members to join the daily standup, you ensure that the team maintains a strong connection and updates are shared consistently. If the team members are committed to the project's success, they should understand the importance of this practice and be willing to adjust their schedules to accommodate the standup meeting.

I would rather choose C. In situations where team members are spread across different time zones, it's important to find a balance between maintaining effective communication and respecting individual needs.

I think I'm gonna go for A. C is tempting, but still does not address the purpose of the daily standup, whereas creating a daily report seems closer to that. Frenquent 2-3 people meetings might not be as useful as people will tend to meet with the same people on their time zone. Thoughts on this?

D. is the worst possible answer for the exam. what is worse though in real life it would be D. and this is the plight of our current working society. those who are in a conducive timezone or forego personal life will rise to the top, initially.

A Development Team are expected to self-organize a suitable time at which all members can attend the Daily Scrum. This expectation applies regardless of whatever time zones they may be in.

Cannot be D. If different timezones, cannot enforce strict same timing for all as it could be a clash in their out of office hours or rest time etc. Chat GPT also says this When faced with the challenge of finding a suitable time for the daily standup with team members located in different time zones, the project manager should take the following action: C. Encourage frequent, small team meetings with two or three team members: Instead of trying to find a single time that works for all team members, the project manager can encourage smaller team meetings that accommodate the time zone differences.
