Option C (Negotiate with the executives and agree on a process) can be part of the solution, but it should be coupled with training to ensure that negotiations are based on a shared understanding of agile principles.

Negotiation is the best way. Moreover, we do not know on which side the problem exist. So, why should we train executives?

Selected Answer: A
A. Train the executives on agile practices: This is a proactive approach to resolving conflicts. Providing training and education to executives about agile practices can help bridge the gap in understanding. It allows executives to grasp the principles, values, and benefits of agile methodologies, making them more receptive to agile processes.

The company is transforming to Agile. Executives are having issues, what is there to negotiate? You train the executives in Agile practices... How do you explain Agile to executives? The Agile methodology is as much a mindset as it is a way of project management. It values collaboration, producing working results, and adapting to change. The Agile methodology doesn't tell you to stick to a set of prescribed steps or processes.

Can't be A. The question mentions the conflict but no information whether the root cause is from executives, and also no information mentioning executes lack of agile practices knowledge. Best action should be hold a discussion with executives & team to find out root cause first.

Selected Answer: C
C. Negotiate with the executives and agree on a process Part of the negotiation and deciding a process can be a formal agile training to executives. So first thing to do in this scenario is to have a discussion on the current conflicts and negotiate to define a process or future direction

The organisation has decided to move to Agile. It is scrum master's role to ensure the Agile value and practise are implemented in the project level as well as the organisation level. So education is scrum master's role and responsibility so I select A

“conflicts” mean executives don’t agree with the agile practices. without them agreeing, cannot train them. so better is to negotiate
