Notice it didn't say all workers will go on vacation the same day or period. It simply says before the year ends. The PM in the Schedule Management during the Develope Schedule Process considers as an input the Resource Managment Plan during Aquire/allocate Resource Process developed with the help of the functional manager incharge of the resources and which usually takes into consideration such scenarios. The Vacation plan is thus discused and shedule replanned accordingly. Normally this is achieved through lags placed on activities.

Since the team will have to plan and complete their vacation by the year end, there is likely chance of overlapping vacation plans if not coordinated, hence answer should be A. Dont you think the chances of vacation plans overlap without coordinated effort?

after reading the question, it said may, which means it may not, so if we schedule vacation time in a less impacting way, it may not affect time line, however, discussing the plan with the team, and them scrub it, and then take action i feel is the best way. so D and then A would be the good steps, but A i can see would be the best answer assuming D is being done inside of A

Selected Answer: A
There is a risk of schedule getting extended due to organisational announcement. So as a PM we need to come up with a risk mitigation plan rather than straightaway accomodating the schedule changes. Hence, we need to discuss with the team and come up with a plan to minimize the impact on the project schedule.

I think option A is more appropriate. If it's affecting the project timeline then before its included, need to be assure that it will have minimal impact.

I think A is the Answer Because in D if we want to update the Change Log, we need to have approval from the Board, and I know it's the company's decision and they will approve it but in some cases, the answer should mention about requesting changes Always need to communicate with the team and FM without changing things and if that doesn't give us a solution we will do the D
