D. Understand the team member's personal issue and offer them support. When a team member is experiencing a personal issue that affects their work, it's essential for the project manager to show empathy and offer support. The first step is to have a private and compassionate conversation with the team member to understand the nature of the issue without prying into personal details. Selected Answer: D
D. Understand the team member's personal issue and offer them support. As a project manager, it's important to be empathetic and supportive towards team members who are experiencing personal issues that could affect their work performance. The first step is to approach the team member in a private and confidential manner to understand the issue and offer support. The project manager should also reassure the team member that their health and wellbeing is a priority and encourage them to take any necessary time off or work flexibly if it would help them deal with their personal issue. In addition, the project manager may need to reassign some of the team member's tasks temporarily to ensure that the project progresses as planned while the team member gets the necessary support.
