A. In retrospective the team talks about the last iteration, lessons learnt and how to they can improve, backlog refinement is a responsibility of the product owner. Backlog refinement is not used for revisiting issues its simply for reprioritization of user stories and issues. E. Prioritize issues focusing on the one that affects the goals is what needs to be done.

By combining a collaborative backlog refinement meeting with prioritization of critical issues, the project manager can effectively address the coordination challenges, empower the team to find solutions, and ensure progress towards the iteration goal despite the difficulties with the critical deliverable.

In a situation where a critical deliverable is causing difficulties, and the work is not well-coordinated among team members, the project manager should take actions to address the issues and improve team performance. Two appropriate actions are: C. Schedule an iteration backlog refinement meeting to understand the issues. By scheduling an iteration backlog refinement meeting, the project manager can gather the team to discuss and understand the issues that are affecting the current iteration. This meeting can help in identifying bottlenecks, clarifying requirements, and addressing any misunderstandings or coordination problems. D. Set up one-on-one meetings to provide feedback to the team members. Conducting one-on-one meetings with team members allows the project manager to provide personalized feedback, understand individual concerns, and address any performance issues. This can help in building a better understanding of the challenges faced by each team member and providing support where needed.

N.B: Option E - Prioritizing issues is important, but it should be done in conjunction with understanding the root causes. The iteration backlog refinement meeting (Option C) would provide a platform for prioritizing and addressing issues in a collaborative manner.

When a critical deliverable is causing difficulties, and there are coordination issues among team members, the project manager should take the following two actions: B. Provide clear instructions on how the work should flow among the team members: Clear and well-defined processes and workflows can help address coordination issues. Providing guidance on how work should be organized, assigned, and executed can improve coordination and reduce the emergence of functionality and quality issues. E. Prioritize the issues, focusing on the ones affecting the iteration goal: It's important to prioritize and address the issues that are directly impacting the current iteration's goal and progress. By focusing on the most critical issues first, the project manager can help the team overcome immediate obstacles and maintain progress.

A. Develop a team performance report to discuss in the next retrospective meeting. It´s Agile no need to develop team performance, the team will feel the wrong result directly into the retrospective. B. Provide dear instructions on how the work should flow among the team members. Most Voted. It´s Agile, PM doesn´t provide clear instructions, PM empower the team. C. Schedule an iteration backlog refinement meeting to understand the issues. It´s Agile, PM is a facilitator, PM will facilitate to schedule a backlog refinement and the team will understand where the problems are and will decide how to fix it. D. Set up one-on-one meetings to provide feedback to the team members. Agile is a TEAM, it´s not an issue related to individual ones. E. Prioritize the issues, focusing on the ones affecting the iteration goal. PM can prioritize the issues with the Team showing them how to do where they are going to learn

This is Agil Project, PM doesn´t provide clear instructions, PM empower the team and let the team to search and define good solutions, never adress the decitions directly by himself, the team need to grow up through take decitions experience

C isn't applicable in this case. Do not mix it up with Retrospective. "During Backlog Refinement (Grooming) the Scrum Master facilitates as the Product Owner and Scrum Team review the user stories at the top of the Product Backlog in order to prepare for the upcoming sprint"

The question is addressing team collaboration issue. Option E cannot be right as it does not address team performance issue, its only prioritizing the backlog, not checking up the team performance.

The project manager should first provide clear instructions on how the work should flow among the team members to ensure that there is no confusion about roles and responsibilities. The project manager should then schedule an iteration backlog refinement meeting to understand the issues and ensure that the team is aligned on what needs to be done. Developing a team performance report and providing feedback to individual team members through one-on-one meetings can also be helpful, but they may not address the root cause of the coordination issues. Prioritizing issues is also important, but it should be done in conjunction with the other actions.

There is product backlog refinement but no iteration backlog refinement. It is because iteration is a very short period ranged from 1 to 4 weeks. The iteration backlog is chosen by the team collaborate based on the team's capacity at the sprint planning i.e before the sprint start. so C is not correct. I agreed "B", it is scrum master's responsibility to tell the vision, direction to the team. There is work flow issue so we have to resolve this issue so B is correct. i select B&E
