Sprint Demo (AKA Sprint Review) is the event where the stakeholders are invited by PO. Sprint retrospective involves only the scrum team (DT, PO,SM)

Selected Answer: C
As an active project stakeholder, the IT director should be invited to the sprint demo. The sprint demo, also known as the sprint review, is a meeting where the team demonstrates the completed work to key stakeholders and invites feedback. This meeting increases transparency and provides better opportunities for stakeholders to steer the team. Option C: Sprint demo is the most appropriate choice.

Detailed Points: Transparency: The sprint demo provides a clear view of the progress and the work completed during the sprint. Stakeholder Feedback: It allows stakeholders, including the IT director, to provide feedback on the deliverables, ensuring alignment with business needs. Engagement: Inviting the IT director to the sprint demo keeps them engaged and informed about the project's progress and challenges. Decision Making: The feedback received during the sprint demo can influence future planning and prioritization, making it a critical touchpoint for stakeholders. Showcasing Progress: It is an opportunity for the team to showcase their achievements and discuss any adjustments needed based on stakeholder input.

I thing the right answer is C. Project Sponsor is invited to the iteration review meeting to see the product increments as they are completed, but might not attend. Reference of PMI-ACP PrepExam. Attendees Attendees at the iteration review include: The Agile team, which includes the Product Owner and the Scrum Master Stakeholders who want to see the team’s progress, which may also include other teams. Although Agile Release Train (ART) stakeholders may attend, their interests and the level of detail they require are usually better aligned with the System Demo.

If you choose between planning and review, then review should be chosen. Because it's event where you can obtrain feedback and adjust your plans.
