Selected Answer: A
A cumulative flow diagram (CFD) is a graphical representation of the project's workflow, showing the number of tasks or features in different stages (e.g., in progress, completed, scheduled) over time. This diagram helps the project manager visualize the project's progress, identify bottlenecks, and track the flow of work through various stages. In this scenario, the CFD can help the project manager assess the state of the project by: - Showing the number of features in progress, completed, or scheduled - Identifying any bottlenecks or delays in the workflow - Visualizing the project's progress over time

Selected Answer: A
CFDs visualize the flow of work through different stages B. Burndown charts: Focus on tracking remaining work, not visualizing the flow of features through different stages. C. Pareto diagrams: Identify the most common causes of issues, not track feature progress. D. Burnup charts: Show completed work and scope, but don't visualize the flow through stages.

Selected Answer: A
A Cumulative Flow Diagram (CFD) is a visual representation of the flow of work items through different stages of a process. It provides a snapshot of the project's progress by illustrating the status of work items over time. In the context of tracking features in progress, completed, or scheduled, a Cumulative Flow Diagram can show the distribution of features across various stages, helping the project manager assess the state of the project and identify any bottlenecks or areas that need attention.

B. Burndown Chart: a graphical representation of the work completed versus the time elapsed. It typically shows the total work planned for a sprint or project and how much work remains. C. Pareto Diagram: a bar chart that arranges data in descending order of frequency or impact. It helps identify the major factors contributing to a problem by showing the cumulative effect of various issues. Use: It is often used in quality management to prioritize issues, focus improvement efforts on the most significant factors, and achieve the greatest impact with limited resources. D. Burnup Chart: a graphical representation of the work completed versus time, similar to a Burndown Chart. However, a Burnup Chart also includes the total scope of work, showing both completed and planned work.

The key here is they're specifically asking for task status in progress. completed. or scheduled, the cumulative flow diagram would specifically provide the insight required to assess the state of the project. Where as the burndown chart is for tracking work completed and remaining in a specific time frame, like a sprint in Agile methodologies.

Selected Answer: C
If you compare between Burned Down Chart and Cumulative flow diagram, then cumulative flow diagram would be the choice. Burned down chart only show the work completed and planed for the iteration.
