A company has decided to use an agile delivery method for launching a new product to improve the customer checkout experience. How should the project manager ensure the experienced predictive delivery teams are capable of adopting the agile model?
A.
Assign agile roles within the team and conduct training for each role to provide understanding of the agile methodology.
B.
Organize training and development workshops to help all stakeholders to form a shared understanding of agile practices.
C.
Plan a transformation to agile delivery methods for senior leadership before starting project implementation.
D.
Apply only agile methods and practices for specific deliverables of the work and assign this work to experienced agile team members.
Training and Development Workshops: Organizing comprehensive training and development workshops helps in building a shared understanding of agile practices among all stakeholders. This approach ensures that everyone involved, including team members, understands the principles, values, and practices of agile methodologies.
Shared Understanding: A shared understanding of agile practices is crucial for successful adoption. It helps in aligning the team’s mindset and approach towards agile, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that everyone is on the same page.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging all stakeholders in the training process ensures that the transition to agile is smooth and that there is buy-in from all levels of the organization. This is essential for overcoming resistance to change and ensuring successful implementation.
A. Assign agile roles within the team and conduct training for each role to provide understanding of the agile methodology: While assigning roles and conducting role-specific training is important, it is not sufficient on its own. A holistic approach that includes all stakeholders is necessary for a successful transition.
C. Plan a transformation to agile delivery methods for senior leadership before starting project implementation: Focusing solely on senior leadership may not address the needs of the entire team. It is important to ensure that all team members and stakeholders are trained and understand agile practices.
D. Apply only agile methods and practices for specific deliverables of the work and assign this work to experienced agile team members: This approach may create silos and does not ensure that the entire team is capable of adopting agile practices. It is important to train the entire team to work cohesively in an agile environment.
B could be best answer.
The option A includes the phrase "Assign agile roles within the team" and "conduct training for each role", these are something strange for me.
1) Team is a team, not decompose much more minimized role.
2) the situation of training for each role, this is also something special...
Even though taking care DASM belongs PMI, someone doesn't assign specific role for the project, I think.
So the Option-B can be good.
B = correct.
The organization is willing to adopt the Agile approach. Thus, it is essential for all of the stakeholders to understand the Agile principles. This is unrelated to the Agile development team (otherwise A would be the correct option).
